Privacy policy

Last updated October 26, 2026. The short version: no accounts, no tracking of you across the web by us, and the ads are served by Google under their rules.

What we collect

Happy Hour CoMo has no sign-up and no user accounts. We do not collect names, emails or any personal information just for browsing the site.

If you tap Near me, your browser asks for permission to share your location. It is used in your browser to sort venues by distance and is never sent to our servers.

Your preferences (last city, Hide chains) are kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. Clear your browser data to remove them.

Forms

When you use Report a change or Suggest a spot, what you type (and your email, if you choose to add one) is delivered to us by FormSubmit and lands in our inbox. We use it only to check and update listings.

The "How is it right now?" buttons on venue pages send an anonymous vote (no identifier) that is kept for 90 minutes to show a live reading.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure them. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and at aboutads.info. How Google uses data when you use our site is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent, page requested) for security and performance. We do not run analytics scripts that profile you.

Third-party links

Venue pages link to venue websites, Google Maps and ride apps. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
